While preparing to write The Phytopia® Cookbook, Gollman researched over 200 original research studies and compiled the information into a chapter called The Science Behind the Recipes. The complete Bibliography is available in the book. Since publishing The Phytopia® Cookbook, she has done countless talks and cooking demonstrations to both professionals and the general population.
